Useful Idiots as I said at my blog.
Tom
Rampaging stupidity.
From a HuffPost poster wrt another poster (http:// www. huffingtonpost. com/social/gomezrules/paul-krugman-occupy-wall-street_n_1006952_112695023.html) who hyper-linked to this silly attempt at classic logical fallacies, e.g., Ad Hominem and Red Herring.
Please see this .edu site (http:// www. csun. edu /~dgw61315/fallacies.html) to learn why you should not use logical fallacies (btw, you should know better!).

“Using your logic, where are all those things made by corporations manufactured? Is it offshore? I thought so.”
Well, it looks like the .edu web site to which I hyper-linked, wrt logical fallacies my break via this blog. Thus, I used Tiny URL to circumvent the possible breakage: http://preview.tinyurl.com/45gjl
Also, here is one of my favorite web sites wrt logical fallacy and why YOU should NEVER use them like you did in that lame attempt to ‘score points’ above:

(Tiny URL, in case the full URL breaks via this blog) http://tinyurl.com/yeczp5q
I hope you’re man enough, and not as disingenuous as you appeaser, to allow my messages to be posted on your blog. Otherwise, you’re simply a shill who cares not for fact and proper debate.
*snort* I just had to approve your posts James. Not sure how you got “there” from here, but hey, I guess you entertained yourself.
Hey,
At least your man enough and honest enough to post my messages, even though you are dishonest enough to post such a logical fallacy filled image in the first place.
Well gee, thank you so much for “you’re”(or is it your?) consideration James. Of course, any boy cowardly enough to level the charge of liar over the internet surely deserves my regard. Then again, perhaps a better grounding in informal logic would help you to identify the “logical fallacies” in a comedic picture, but probably not. I don’t really think you would recognize a red herring if the stink of that fish were wiped on your upper lip.
Cheers my darling dullard.
Irony overload… complaining about logical fallacies while citing a Krugman article (ignoring the Appeal to Authority fallacy made with that one)?
Putting that aside, the picture above makes a statement about the irony in protesting corporations using corporate products. Logic 101 – A fallacy is an argument in which the premises do not give the needed support for the conclusion. An argument is one or more premises followed by a conclusion. I suppose you could stretch and say the picture above is a premise but you’re still lacking a conclusion. No argument – no fallacy. Hence, shut up.
His references are to a HuffPo article. A kind conservative linked to this photo to illustrate a point and naturally every liberal went off 🙂 Hey, it sure gave me a surge in hits, and a few even stuck around to read some other material! Thank you to the kind conservative and the HuffPo. I read James’ comments at HuffPo, and seriously, the kid just seems to spew nonsense. Here’s the scary part: I think he really thinks he knows what he’s talking about. Creeps. Me. Out.
