Quartzville – Early Morning

January 28th, 2010

Decided on an easy post for this Thursday – I wanted to take off into the hills with my wife, daughter, and brother. Too much fun, too many great photos, and Einstein the dog had a better time than we did… I think ๐Ÿ˜€

Come spring time, the water line will actually make it up pretty close to the tree line. The black spots in this photo are actually tree stumps that wind up underwater once the snow pack starts melting. Click on the photo for a full size view of the photo.

Early Morning Idyll

Cheers Everyone!

That photo is surreal. I want to plunk down a stool and campfire just above the water and cast in my lure. I can only imagine how clear the sky is at night.

Wow. The Skald is a real renaissance man. He waxes poetic on human behavior. He writes cool (micro) fiction. And…he takes great photos. Very nice shot.

Good work!! A great photo is just the start, you really added an emotion to it with the editing, which isn’t easy to do.

@Jeff When we’re out of the rainy season, the night sky is stunning! My brother and I string a couple of hammocks, a small fire, a couple of beers and fishing poles – yup, you’d love it!

@Susan at Stony River Rivendell!! yesyesyes ๐Ÿ˜€

@tom Vail Thanks Tom ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ll put in a link to my brother’s photography page next entry – he can really capture a scene!

@John Thanks John, I’m getting the hang of the Adobe’s version of a dark room!
