The Pen is Mightier than... pfffft, write.

Where to start with this new Skalduggery site? The first caveat is that it is under construction. The second caveat is that while posts and descriptive pages will be forthcoming, they will be added at my leisure… since this is not really a paying gig. As the tag line indicates, I’ll tackle anything that tickles my fancy; however, I am heading in a new direction with this new site.

I’ve come the long way round to being a public servant again, and of all things, it’s for a little research. I’m interested in our criminal justice system, and as will be made clear, as the site matures, the focus will be largely on the corrections segment of our justice system.

As for the “About The Skald” portion of this page, not much has changed from the Blogger site;

I am the son of a son of a sailor, and all of us are retired. I am the son of two, a sibling among three, the father of four, the grandfather of two (ok, three so far), and the husband of the very one I love.

Truly, I am only the son of a sailor, but I really like saying that line! It is also true I am on my way to being the grandfather of three. See you in the blog posts!

P.S. I’m hoping to update each Tuesday while on this work schedule; however, I’m also hoping to have some tidbits through the week. What’s that MEAN? Update sporadically… See you on Tuesday ;-)

P.S.S. My days off have changed – so updates will be, on my best days, Wednesday-Thursday. See ya soon.
