My wife had a POW bracelet while in high school and we were honored to attend his return in 1973... and were promptly harassed and spit at as we left his ceremony at the Naval Air Station. I joined the following year. Thanks to you and yours for your unfettered service! A few of us were Vietnam era vets. It is nice to see the complete turnaround from the reception we got in the late 60s and early 70s. Thank you, Steven, and all your relatives, for your service. We are where we are today (well, not the dysfunctional government part, but the other remaining freedoms) because of your service and that of others like you. I come from a long line of Vets too; one of the things I'm proudest of in my life is being the daughter of a WWII veteran.
